How to plan the perfect wedding day

What Can I Do To Become A Good Husband?

What makes a good husband? How can one become a good husband? For many married men these are the million dollar questions as they struggle to understand the way in which their wives think. Well hopefully this article will provide you with the answers to the above questions, the answers that could ultimately enable you to have a happy, long and successful marriage.

Now I am not a relationship expert or a relationship counsellor. I am just an average guy who tries to live life in what I consider to be the right way. In my business life I am a webmaster of various websites offering amongst others a DVD duplication service, offering catering supplies UK and I also run a specialised stuttering treatment course (I have overcome a stutter which had affected my life, in a negative way, for eighteen years).

A great husband is somebody who is loving, caring and loyal. The majority of people will be fully aware that without trust any relationship is virtually doomed to failure. A women should feel that this trust is a given as this will enable her to have a feeling of security.

Where there are children that have been born from the relationship then the husband should be supportive and loving towards these siblings. I am thinking here of those dads who just go to the pub each night or spend every minute of the day working. Money is important however it most certainly is not everything.

Charming and romantic are the next two adjectives that are essential for men who are hoping to become a great husband. The honeymoon period is all but over in such a short space of time however by buying your wife the odd gift or some flowers from time to time should help to keep the flames of passion burning. Why not write her some poetry or a love song? Come on guys, you can do it.

Finally before I bore you all completely the last idea from my list is that a decent husband needs to be a good listener. The majority of women love to talk, they love to talk about their friends or their work and most certainly their problems. You may well find these subjects extremely un-interesting however make the effort to at least pretend to listen!
