How to plan the perfect wedding day

Organize and Plan Your Wedding To Be The Experience Of A Lifetime

Couples face a lot of pressure when planning the dream wedding. People want all the items on their to-do lists to be fully covered in detail, and when the wedding they plan is really big, they can have the awful  surprise of being totally overwhelmed.

You can continue to add items on the below list and make it very long. Nevertheless, planning the perfect ceremony is not only about covering all the elements in the checklist. The plans need the support of your would-be spouse, family and friends. Lots of issues appear because the in-laws cannot agree on the ceremony details, on dates, seatings and party locations.

There are lots of questions that you need to consider:

  • the decorations and the style of the ceremony;
  • thank you notes and response cards that accompany invitations;
  • the wedding location, the guests and the budget;
  • the bridesmaids and bride’s dresses;
  • the brides and grooms wedding speeches;
  • the menu;
  • service providers and music;
  • the marriage license;
  • gifts for the guests;
  • photo-shooting.

And don’t forget about the brides and grooms wedding speeches.  These important speeches, including the grooms toast, are an important aspect of the wedding planning process and are usually forgotten until the last minute.  This is a big mistake and needs to be given priority in the ceremony planning process.

Maybe a professional planner could simplify things for you, unless you have a friend or a family member to assume the role of official organizer. Regardless of whether you follow conventional ceremony guidelines or you have a certain theme in mind, things can be a lot easier if you stick to a rule of simplicity. Normally, the more complex the wedding, the more difficult the event planning.

Do not try to please everybody, because that will hardly be possible. Who are you planning the perfect ceremony for? Your parents, your friends or yourself? These being said, we can only advise that you go step by step and you start working on the main processes involved well in advance so that you don’t complain about stress. Then, by the time you have found the location, decided on the outfits and have contacted the caterers, a lot of the burden will have gone away.

It should be easy to do so if you think that you are preparing for the happiest day of your life and that it is the beginning of life together. Joys and positive attitudes will help you go through the tantrums of the event. Therefore, try to overcome the paradoxical idea that planning the perfect ceremony is actually all about stress, fights, disputes and arguments. Say a firm no to these and make a difference!
