Getting away for a marriage can be fun if you plan for it.  It is quite common today for people to get married away from home at or near the location of their honeymoon.  If you plan on doing this there are some things that you will want to think about including how you will get friends and family there to share your big day with you, how you will carefully transport your wedding jewelry and attire, and how you will securely store your wedding jewelry during your stay.The effort can result ina wonderful experience, if you want to get away and be married somewhere other than home. 

Getting your friends and family to the site may be something that you want to think about.  You probably won’t be able to afford to get everyone there, so let people know that they are welcome, but also let them know that you understand if they cannot afford to come.  If someone does come, you may want to ask them to help you make arrangements for transporting your wedding jewelry and attire. 

If your friends do come they can definitely help you out with the security of your things.  When you transport your attire you’ll want to make sure that you do so with care, your bridal salon may be able to help you find boxes or carrying cases that will help keep the integrity of your items in tact so you look great on your wedding day.  Wedding jewelry should definitely be carried with you on airplanes, trains, or any commercial transportation system.This is best way to carry your valuables, as you may may already know. 

If your friends and family will be coming for the ceremony and then going home before you, you may want to entrust your wedding jewelry to them when they go home.  This will allow you to not focus on the safety of your jewelry during your honeymoon; instead you can focus on your honeymoon as well you should be!if it is not possible to do this, Ask the hotel to put your jewelry into their safe so you can have fun while you wedding jewelry is safe!  Getting married away from home requires a lot of thought about what seems like simple things, but for most it is worth it!
