Although for both sexes getting married is special, for women it is more special and everything should be perfect. Most ladies plan there wedding from a young age. In a nice church, with the perfect dress and surroundings.
But as of late more and more women are beginning to want to get weddings abroad in extravagant destinations such as the Caribbean and other tropical islands. There are some good aspects and bad aspects of each approach so let us quickly take a look at both.
First off lets have a look at the positives and disadvantages of sticking in the UK for your wedding:
Advantages
1) Alot of your loved ones being able to attend the wedding
2) English being the countries first language so easier to organise stuff
Disadvantages
1) The weather changes on a daily basis
2) Hen nights to tend to be a bit on the side of extreme
Now lets have a look at the advantages and disadvantages of going to a destination such as the Caribbean for your wedding:
1) You are guaranteed to have sunshine and heat on your wedding day
2) Most weddings will be outside because of the heat so you will have a great unique experience that you could not have whilst in the UK
Disadvantages
1) Not having a lot of friends or family members at the wedding
2) Tying the knot in the same destination as your honeymoon, this can be positive or negative. But personally I would take this as a negative as after the wedding you always want to look forward to having trip to your honeymoon destination.
Whihever option is chosen I am sure you will have an out of this wold experience.
